The Hermes assistant app
Hermes is a personal assistant that I run on my own server for my own use. It asks for access to a Google account only so it can help me with my own email, calendar, contacts and documents. It is not offered to anyone else.
- Google data is used only to answer my requests and run reminders and summaries I set up.
- It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
- Data that Hermes processes may be sent to the AI model provider it uses to generate a reply, and to nothing else.
- The access token is stored on my private server and can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access settings.
Hermes's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
